![]() Over
the years, le Café du Vieux Conseil is popular for
lunch and tea amongst the business people in the capital city, Port
Louis.
Formerly a colonial house, now converted into a café,
le Café du Vieux Conseil has a very unique
courtyard setting. Tables are arranged
around mango trees, the verandah and kiosks to create this very
cosy atmosphere.
Sandwiches, baguettes, crêpes and several créole
dishes are offered.
Where is it : only 20 metres
away from The Theatre of Port Louis, towards the National Museum,
along a cobbled pavement.
